2022-12-12WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2023
On the occasion of World Environment Day, 2023 NCC Units (1 Assam BN Unit and 48 Assam Naval Unit) and Department of Zoology organised several events like Poster making and Quiz competition. 5 students participated for the Poster competition and 6 teams of two members each participated in the Quiz competition. Prizes were handed over by our Principal Sir Dr. Satyendra Nath Barman, IQAC coordinator Dr. Diganta Choudhury Sir and Convenor Dr. Mridul Borthakur Sir.
2023-06-05EARTH DAY 2023
Earth day was celebrated at Dispur College organised by 48 Assam Naval Unit NCC, where 5 colleges of 48 ANU and 3 colleges of 1 and 60 Assam BN Unit participated and several competitions were performed. Cadet Bismita Rabha won the title of Best Debator. Cadet Bismita Rabha and Cadet Jintu Roy won Second Prize in Debate Competition. Cadet Gayatri Konwar and Cadet Hipesh Ghosh won 1st prize in Quiz Competition. Chief guests of the program was Jadav Payeng, Brig. Dinar Dighe Sir GP CDR.
2023-04-25CELEBRATION OF INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY, 2023
International Yoga Day was celebrated at Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Auditorium at around 9am in the morning. Various students, NCC cadets of 48 Assam Naval Unit and NSS students participated in the program. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Sucharita Dey, the coordinator of the Yoga and Related Activities Cell, in presence of our Principal Sir. Dr. Priyanka Koiri, CTO, 48 Assam Naval Unit, Assistant Professor of Dept. of Geography was the teacher incharge and the Yoga mentor for the program.
