The College Principal along with Senior Faculties from Arts and Science Stream holds a special meeting with students of different classes and streams. Students are advised on the academic choices available and the mode of entrance tests for getting major in a particular subject. Every department in the first few classes make it a point to enrich the students about the way to proceed to further their goals
Students are given Personal counselling not on a formal basis but in an informal one.
The college invites expert counsellors from time to time and holds interactions between them and the students. If a teacher feels that a student is in need of psycho-social counseling his parents / guardians are approached and advised regarding the direction they should follow.
There is Grievance Redressal Cell to attend to the grievance of students.
An Enterpreneurship Development Cell has been constituted in the college to provide exposoure to students in enterpreneurship. Various programmes for the devfelopment of awareness in enterpreneurship are organized with the help of experts from different organizations.
The BBCPDC, a student welfare society, has been working to help the young adults to cope with and confront challenges in the professional, social and personal spheres and to provide wide exposoure to its students to global career opportunities. The centre imparts training and organizes awareness programmes for self-employment and personality development so that students are better equipped to face the future challenges.
This fund provides financial help to economically backward and meritorious students. Applications are invited from students seeking financial aid. The application should be accompanied with income certificate of parents from competent authority. The applications should be submitted to the office of the Principal by 17th august for every academic year. A committee is appointed to consider the applications received and to prepare a list of deserving students.
